The top street food vendors in Washington, D.C. are gathered together by the Washington D.C. Food Truck Association, or DCFTA. They are a varied, carefully selected group of culinary experts who work in the greater Washington, D.C. area. space.
We are dedicated to connecting Washingtonians with our members for distinctive food truck catering experiences because we think that food unites people. At the same time, we are working hard to preserve Washington D.C.'s iconic street food culture thru our advocacy work.
Above all, we are community-driven, constantly striving to maintain excellent food, uphold street safety, and improve the entire food truck experience.
Food Truck Catering
Full-service mobile catering is the main focus of the Washington, D.C. Food Truck Association. By putting customers in touch with a variety of nearby food truck vendors, we create distinctive, unforgettable experiences. With more than 100 members, we offer a wide variety of food trucks and cuisines that will fulfill any craving and enhance any occasion.
We cater a variety of events, including festivals, happy hours, corporate and employee appreciation events, weddings, birthday parties, and bar mitzvahs. We have the answer for any event.

Advocacy and Empowerment
There are two distinctive and significant ways that the Washington D.C. Food Truck Association supports local food truck businesses.
First, thru event catering and other revenue streams, DCFTA makes sure that our vendors have access to a plethora of new business opportunities. Because Ben Goldberg, a former food truck owner who saw firsthand how difficult it can be to rely only on erratic street sales, founded DCFTA, our organization is set up to make sure our vendors remain relevant and active all year long thru these catering opportunities, which in turn enable our members to expand their businesses.
Second, in order to represent the interests of our members and the food truck industry as a whole, DCFTA devotes a substantial amount of time and resources to lobbying the local and state governments. We stay up to date on any potential policy, rule, or regulation changes that directly affect our members. Because DCFTA is constantly monitoring the industry, we can use our knowledge to help local mobile businesses get their voices heard.
